Welcome Back!

WOW its been 5 years since I have blogged. I sure have missed it too. So much to say but little time so I will start with this weeks happenings so far. School: we have began online school from home. Kids are having a hard time but they are doing a good job with it. I think what they miss the most is the social aspect of school. The instant feedback from a teacher saying "Yes you got it!" or "try again" OR "close but explain a little more in details." The kids have always said they wanted homeschool but not sure they like it. With schools being shut down for a bit that also means no Athletics, no sports. Which I am sad. All I ever have known is to schedule my life around a game or practice. Now, I do not have a schedule, it feels weird but I am enjoying it. I sleep better, eat better ( no concession stand food) I have felt rested, its crazy how we go go go and never realize what we put our bodies & minds through on a daily basis. I am enjoying not having a long night, early morning schedules for a bit. In the mean time, we are currently trying to finish up a house so that we can move in it! See we have been living in a RV since June, we have done it before for 3 years when our children were younger. However, they are 14 & 13 and to just say the teenage hormones have been raging. Though we can talk and see each other a lot closer by living in the RV, I will miss that. The house we are moving into is al to larger! I can't wait, something I have always dreamed of. It has a den, living room, 3 bedroom 2 bath and we recently knocked down two walls to open up the kitchen area with nice big island bar. I can't wait to start cooking and having space! I'm super excited for the kids to have their own rooms, nice new bedroom furniture, own bathroom with a tub! Jantz loves to take baths...lol. me too but.... hopefully soon we will get to get in while we are out of school working Monday - Thursday 8-12.
